IT Home reported that BABA-SW (09988.HK) -1.450 (-1.824%) Short selling $138.78M; Ratio 3.911% 's Global Headquarters (Xixi Campus C) in Hangzhou Future Tech City will be officially put into use on Friday (10 May). On the same day, BABA's Beijing Chaoyang Science and Technology Park will also be opened.
It is reported that BABA's Global Headquarters project consists of 7 office buildings in an enclosed layout, with a total construction area of 984,500 square metres and an above-ground construction area of 584,500 square metres.
Xixi Campus C is BABA's largest campus, with a capacity of 30,000 people. As for the existing Xixi Campus A, it will become the headquarters of BABA's e-commerce businesses such as Taobao and Tmall. Meanwhile, the group is considering opening Xixi Campus B to the public and developing it into a Digital Ecology Innovation Park.
