Major tech stocks in the US were generally on the rise last night, and popular Chinese stocks also rose. NASDAQ Golden Dragon China Index hiked more than 6%, closing at a record high since late November last year.

BABA-SW (09988.HK) +3.600 (+4.731%) Short selling $265.65M; Ratio 7.020% (BABA.US) ADR closed at HK$78.45 after converting to HKD, 3.1% over the HK market close yesterday.
The spot-month HSI futures closed the night session 355 points higher at 18,520, trading 313 points above the HSI.
