Sequoia Capital, NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US) , Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US) and other investors invested US$52 million into Fireworks AI, an AI startup that was founded just two years ago, giving it a valuation of US$552 million in a new round of valuation.
Fireworks' tool is designed to make it easier for companies to adopt generative AI, allowing them to access over 100 models using its platform.
Rather than building its own models from scratch, Fireworks helps companies fine-tune and customize other models to meet specific needs. The startup's clients include DoorDash (DASH.US) and Verizon (VZ.US) .
