DiDi Chuxing (DIDIY.US) launched its taxi-hailing service in Hong Kong, offering taxi booking and cross-border car services.
According to DiDi, its service in Hong Kong currently offers two options, namely "DiDi Taxi", which charges a charter fare, and "Ordinary Taxi", which charges according to the distance meter. Payments can be made in cash or electronically, and users can also use the calling service to book taxis for others.
In addition to ordinary taxi services, DiDi also provides a cross-border car service, which allows users to travel from Hong Kong to Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Huizhou and Zhuhai.
DiDi has been actively developing overseas services in recent years, and its international business revenue hiked 33.3% YoY to RMB2.22 billion in the last quarter.
